Extending my expertise in patient-centric care within a population health approach to health care professionals has enabled them to find their at risk patients, come along side of them around treatment decisions, obtain patient buy in for appropriate therapy optimization and meet the goals of improved adherence, outcomes, and reimbursement. In the pharmaceutical industry, I was the recipient of the Circle of Excellence Award at Novo Nordisk for top performance around increasing days on injectable therapy and driving oral to injectable treatment optimization. I have developed relationships with hundreds of health care providers who have viewed me as their trusted adviser and diabetes expert. They have trusted both my opinion and my ability to connect with their patients and were grateful for the education I provided their staff on all aspects of diabetes along with instruction on injectable devices. I was part of the successful launches of six injectable Novo Nordisk products over 9 years. My creative side shines in development and deliverance of programs on any topic to any audience. My nature is down to earth and I believe humor is one of the best medicines for connecting. I am most proud of my Novo Nordisk Leo Award for team building which I received for developing and employing original team building activities for our team over several years which were put into an electronic version to share with others. I am able to wear several hats at one time, both on the job, and on stage, where I am a volunteer stage hand, fundraiser, and actor.
