I’m the creative director and principal at Slow Clap Productions. We collaborate with brands, causes and agencies to tell visual stories in exciting ways. We specialize in documentary-style storytelling, but enjoy all types of challenges that engage audiences with authentic messages.

I worked at Photon, a boutique video production company in SF, for five years altogether.I started as a part-time assistant editor, eventually became an editor, and then became the in-house copywriter. In 2013, I took the reins as the creative director.When a client came to us with marketing and communications needs, I worked closely with our team comprised of director/account manager, producer, designer, and editor to come up with creative solutions. Usually, those solutions were in the form of corporate and commercial video, motion graphics, and the occasional narrative or music video. I created pitches, treatments, scripts, and top-level creative concepts. I've worked with clients that include SIlicon Valley technology corporations, San Francisco non-profits, start-ups, and everything in between.

I edited corporate and commercial video for the web and broadcast. I also collaborated with Photon's creative development team to visualize and write video pitches, treatments, and scripts.I specialized in non-linear editors like Final Cut, Avid, and Premiere, and have experience with Logic, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and others.

I shot and edited corporate video on a freelance basis.

I assembled rough cuts, synchronized dailies, edited sound, worked directly with the lead editor & director on feature film 'Fifth Form'.

I was the primary cinematographer and camera operator on feature length documentary "Africa Is Not For Sissies,' which debuted at the Durban International Film Festival.

I worked with a young team putting together original content for a how-to video web startup. I was constantly kept on my feet, meeting tight launch deadlines and high quality standards.

Video-related hardware and software operator. Creation of dubs, conversions, clip reels, and other things related to machine room VTR operation.

I assisted the creative director, managing creative and technical aspects of online digital media.
