I have 23 years of organizational leadership and management in the United States Air Force. 15 of those years were spent executing construction, repair, and maintenance projects utilizing carpentry, welding, sheet metal, and masonry skill sets. I have 3 years' experience as an instructor with mixed lessons plans of classroom and hands-on instruction, and two years managing Force Development for a 2,700-member career field. This position entailed establishing and validating developmental training objectives and redirecting appropriate training (type, recurrence, knowledge level) to meet the needs of the DoD. Other aspects included developing and reviewing lesson plans, training packages, and complete training programs. I am currently serving as a Senior Enlisted Leader (Chief Enlisted Manager), where I provide leadership, management, and general supervision of the organization’s enlisted force, and guidance in organizing, equipping, training, and mobilizing personnel to meet mission requirements. Additionally, my role is charged with managing and directing resource activities, interpreting and enforcing policies and applicable directives, establishing control procedures to meet mission goals and standards, advise on and manage the organization's future years' budget projections and current year expenditures, and actively support and maintain robust recognition programs. Furthermore, I oversee the organizations readiness, training, health, morale, welfare, and quality of life of assigned personnel. And finally, I actively manage personnel talent and lead organizational programs.
