Office Admin Responsibilities include: Managing supply Inventory, scheduling, answering high volume of calls, time sensitive correspondence, follow-up with patients, medical records, advertising, facilitating the new hire process, processing payrollCash duties include: Collect all cash payments, recording, daily monitoring of cash in the bank, bank deposits, processing checks.Answer patient calls regarding billing questions,patient unresolved claimsObtain initial benefit information Check on eligibility/ coverage/ if pre-authorization is required from insurance co.Call insurance carrier to confirm eligibility, coverage, check copay, deductible, & or out of pocket, if any limitations existCoordinate Insurance carriers requirements: Worker’s comp, Medicare, P.P.O's, HMO’s, Cash patientsReview/ process E.O.B.'s Resolve issues between insurances, ins. billing, authorizations, verify benefits.Negotiate with 3rd party liens regarding lien reductions, act as a liaison between clinic owner,third party lien holder to settleCoordinate with 3rd parties to copy med. records/billing records/ all subpoena requestsAct as a liaison between clinic staff and third party billing company to gather patient demographics, insurance information, complete SOAP notes, progress letters, in order to complete the billing processMonitor patient accounts, document patient progress in file, review file to ensure all payments have been received for all dates of serviceIssue and mail past due notificationsResolve all letter of denials, gather all missing information, complete all necessary forms and re-submit Resolve Worker’s comp phone calls regarding claims, patient visits, authorizations and patient reports Communicate with Physical Therapists, patients, billing department to effectively meet the patients needCommunicate with doctor’s offices regarding patient progress, treatment, patient referralsDeliver patient reports, brochures/ other marketing material to doctor’s offices
