I am Interface Consultant for Pinnacle Business Solutions, a software development company focused on project software solutions for the fabrication and construction services industries worldwide. MatriX-EPS, Pinnacle’s comprehensive steel fabrication project software, takes the unpredictability out of complex projects and gives real-time information to keep costs on track, maximise profit and achieve rigorous quality standards across organisations. Currently responsible as third-party interface consultant for a major financial company ‘Advanced’. This requires knowledge of their financial application software in particular the interface oracle tables. Current role also involves system and data migration activities for their various clients, applications and platforms, Oracle on NT and Oracle on UNIX. With a BSc In Applied Computing I also do adhoc work as and when required for our in-house MatriX-EPS System.Prior Experience:Analyst Programmer - McDonnell Douglas Information SystemsThe computer section for the Glenrothes Development Corporation was once more outsourced to (MDIS). Responsibilities were as previous outsourced contract. New client systems were enhanced as and when required. Also responsible for the transfer of Glenrothes Development data (stored on a pick system) to be transferred on to a PC based SystemAnalyst Programmer - (CFM) ICLThe computer section for the Glenrothes Development Corporation was outsourced to (CFM) with all staff being transferred. I was responsible for the day to day maintenance and enhancement of existing client systems which included systems analysis, design and implementation of new systems. Also included was mainstream support and answering day to day queries via helpdesk. Programmer - Glenrothes Development CorporationDeveloped and enhanced systems for Housing Allocations and Terminations, Rent & Arrears, Estates Management, Debtors, Creditors. These systems were developed in-house and enhanced in-house.
