Environment, Health And Safety Manager
CurrentResponsible for the health, safety, and environmental activities for the URS/AECOM/amentum-FOMSS contract at Marshall Space Flight Center. Activities include: Training employees, conducting safety observations and inspections, air monitoring and of permitting confined space entries, issuing burning permits, conducting and assisting with various NASA H.S.E. building inspections and investigations. Working with NASA EEOH on activities and projects involving environmental and health concerns. Assist in the management of calibrating meters and equipment provided by NASA Calibration Group. Provide safety talks and meetings to enhance the safety culture for FOMSS employees. Investigate and resolve NASA S.H.E. and S.C.R.S. related issues using the various NASA web-based H.S.E. systems. Member of the MSFC Asbestos committee. Asssit with employees HSE concerns, accidents, and education. Assist with state, federal, and corporate safety audits on the center. MSFC Building Manager for several buildings.
