I became Mississippi Power’s manager of Employee Relations in November of 2011. In this role, I provide leadership for the areas of employee relations, labor relations and health and medical services. I began working for Mississippi Power Company in 1978 as a merchandise sales representative. As my career progressed, I served the company in numerous leadership roles in the marketing organization including Manager, Coast Division Marketing; Manager, Marketing Program Development; Manager, Large Commercial Sales; and Manager, Major Accounts. In 2006, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia to become Manager of National Accounts for Southern Company. I hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi. In 2003, I completed Emory University’s Executive Management Program. I am also a graduate of the Cobb Chamber Leadership Program and Leadership Gulf Coast. Throughout my career, I have served in many leadership roles within the community, including President of the Biloxi Chamber of Commerce and President of the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum Board. I was appointed by the Mississippi governor to serve on the Council of Education Technology and by the mayor of Biloxi to serve on the Biloxi Housing Authority, where I was named Commissioner of the Year. I am a board member for the Mississippi Louisiana Labor Management Conference and the Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross. While living in Georgia, he was a member of the Georgia Economic Development Association and the Cobb Chamber.
