Appointed by Governor Phil Bryant to serve as a committee member of the Mississippi Interior Design Advisory Committee, the jurisdictional committee responsible for making recommendations to the MS State Board of Architecture for implementing interior design legislation and making rules and regulations. IDAC is comprised of Mississippi Certified Interior Designers and reports to the board.

• Management: Directly supervise employees for Mississippi Power's internal/external mail services, in-house print shop services, and contract employees such as interior designers, contractors, project managers, etc.• Design: Provide all interior design services for Mississippi Power’s 50 facilities & power plants across 11,000 square miles. Create & uphold design standards for furniture, finishes, space allocations, & methods for general contractor work, as well as comply with local codes & ADA. Responsible for overseeing all interior space & providing construction estimating services for MPC interior projects.• Facility Management: Administrator for Archibus, an integrated workplace management system, for all facility requests, maintenance, & space management. Sole owner of all master CAD plans & evacuation plans. Work closely with executive management on confidential planning. Manage janitorial contractor’s managers across territory to ensure compliance with specifications. Manage all mail room services across territory. Manage in-house print shop services. Facility Coordinator in disaster preparation & recovery. Programs utilized: Archibus, STARS, Oracle & iExpense• Contract Management: Create bid specs, drawings, & scopes of work; evaluate & award bids; manage over 20 contracts such as janitorial, Xerox, painting, mail room services, temporary labor, architectural & design services, furniture procurement & installation, etc. for all MPC facilities. • Project Management: Manage small to large scale projects to include new construction, renovations, & furniture reconfigurations, as well as manage budget& estimate projects. Analyze & report space utilization & provide plans for consolidation. Coordinate scheduling of mechanical techs, electrical techs, & building attendants for interior projects.
