Worked with Senior Management, Sales, Merchandising and Production to link developmental procedures and create timely concise production packages that could then be sent around the world for implementation as production runs. Team of staff working for me included:10 CAD Pattern Technicians15 First pattern sewers15 Cutting Room staff3 ManagersWhile there I created and led the team responsible for convincing upper management the most cost effective way to purchase and run a $200,000 CAD system which allowed us to create and fine tune patterns, create production markers, and create then compare various costing scenerios involving costing markers which allowed us to save within the second year of operating 3% in yield on production markers on average. Within 5 years of implementing our initial investment was recouperated.

Managed Sales, Buying, and Production for entire company. Direct manager of all company employees. Was responsible for the day to day operations for five years. Worked with sales to purchase the appropriate apparel needing to be printed. Managed inventory of apparel needed for production runs. Managed printing staff by arranging timely production schedules while maintaining the highest level of quality necessary to compete in the Hawaiian and Pacific Rim markets. Sold direct to area retailers and out of country retailers in the Pacific.

As Merchandise Manager, the last position I held while working there, I lived in Hong Kong from 1978 till mid-1982. While livng in HKG I was responsible for Sourcing, Securing Production and Overseeing Production of all Knit Tops and Woven Tops placed by Brittania Sportswear out of Seattle WA. I traveled throughout the Orient with numerous people who visited from Seattle to work with us. Brittsport was responsible for all production Brittania Sportswear placed which at that time was around $150 million.
