Dr. Norm Solomon is Professor Emeritus of Management and Former Dean at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University in Connecticut. He served as Interim Dean of the Sellinger School of Business and Management at Loyola University Maryland in 2014-2015. At Fairfield University he taught courses on Human Resource Management and on Negotiations. He was Dean of the Charles F. Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University from 2001-2011 and has taught at universities in the United States and Canada. He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also holds a certificate from Harvard University’s Institute for Management and Leadership in Education. Dr. Solomon has been responsible for initiating student exchange programs with several European universities while at Fairfield University. He has served as a Jury President at Rouen Business School's International Business Panel and has lectured, by special invitation, at the Durham Business School in the United Kingdom. He has also served as a peer review team member and as chair on many AACSB International accreditation reviews as well as a AACSB mentor for schools seeking accreditation and he has been a member of the AACSB Pre-Accreditation Committee. His accreditation activities have been domestic and international in scope working with schools in the United States as well as in Latin America,Europe and the Middle East.
