My roles at IBM have included:- architect, tech lead, security focal and operations for IBM MQ on Cloud https://www.ibm.com/cloud/mq- development team lead for the IBM Counter Fraud Management - technical lead for components within the IBM Integration Bus product- lead developer for components within WebSphere ESBIn all these roles I have successfully owned deliverables, working closely with stakeholders such as managers, architects, customers and service personnel to define and address their needs. I have authored multiple developerWorks articles and blog entries for both WebSphere ESB and IBM Integration Bus, explaining technical concepts and providing tutorials to demonstrate functionality. I am co-author of the Getting Started with WebSphere ESB Redbook, explaining the concepts, architecture and low level details required to get started with the product. I co-authored and delivered IIB beta workshop education sessions for customers to understand new features and to gather feedback.I also have the role of Senior Inventor which involves publicising the importance of Intellectual Property and mentoring people who are new to process across IBM. I was a patent co-ordinator in the WESB team and continue to run patent trawls in my current role in the Counter Fraud team and have led several people to their first submissions and files. I also regularly review patent submissions from across the lab and provide guidance to improve the quality of filed patents. I am a co-author of multiple patent disclosures with five issues nine files and thirteen published disclosures.
