I joined the Integration Bus development team as technical lead for the BPM Integration LID, which was focused on delivering the new JavaScript API component into IBM Integration Bus, which released June 2013. I worked alongside the component architect and the LID lead to define the architecture and design of the component and then define and prioritise epics and user stories. I worked closely with the chief architect and the beta team to rapidly deliver IBM MessageSight support to IBM Integration Bus v9. In 2014 I was technical team lead for a new Flow Exerciser component which involved attending several beta workshops, gathering feedback and learning how customers may make use of the component. I worked closely with the component architect and designer to perform both technical and user experience design. The feature was delivered into IBM Integration Bus V10 in March 2015. I continue to be known as a technical expert for this area.
Integration Developer For Websphere Esb
Before joining the Integration Bus team in 2012 I spent five years as a developer, including time as a scrum leader and finally technical lead in the WebSphere ESB product development team. In that time I became known as a technical expert in many areas of the product, regularly providing assistance to the WESB Level 3 service team in diagnosing problems, creating APAR fixes and explaining technical details and work-arounds on customer and service team calls. I worked on features for WESB product releases with teams from around the world including Toronto and China and provided new features for the Tivoli team and WebSphere eXtreme Scale team, in my roles as scrum master and technical lead managed backlogs of user stories and defects for multiple teams across the product, ensuring that WESB releases were of high quality (never exceeding the defined defect limit) and contained the highest priority new features.I continue to be known as a WESB expert with a recent lab advocacy role for Lincoln Financial and lab buddy link to a counterpart in Belgium, and continue to assist the WESB Level 3 team with PMRs and APARs. In 2012 I led a series of skills transfer sessions with the WESB Level 3 service team, presenting overviews of different areas of the WESB codebase to enable the L3 team to more easily develop their own fixes for WESB APARs.
