As part of Wella Company (formerly Coty) and the MEA Leadership Team, I am responsible for co-piloting the overall finance operations for the Middle East and Africa Professional Beauty division (15+ distributor markets). I am also responsible for the accounting operations of the UAE Legal Entity.Key responsibilities include:- Delivering monthly top-line & quarterly bottom-line forecast and driving accurate business planning for the MEA cluster, including trade funds budget ownership- Leading long-term P&L planning for MEA, contributing to strategic plans and building blocks development- P&L optimisation with a focus on maintaining a comprehensive awareness of risks and opportunities, and a view to optimising business drivers- Monthly close & monthly reporting- Establishing a robust and sustainable C1 culture and activity system, tracking and drumbeat- Keeping discipline in SOX compliance while driving simplification and harmonization- Cash flow forecasting- Debtor management, including identification of payment acceleration opportunities and minimisation of bad debt riskSpecial Achievements:- Leading the integration of Coty MEA set up to The Wella Company including legal entity structure, D1OM, data transfer and financial systems consolidation as well as leading the stand up of finance, accounting and treasury for The Wella Company in the MEA region

Responsible for co-piloting the overall finance operations with the CFO for Coty Professional Beauty Business Unit in Middle East and Africa distributor markets (15+ countries)

Responsible for the commercial control of the Professional Products division, incorporating 4000 customers and 1000 custom contracts, with consolidated net sales of $102M and Opex of $20M. Key responsibilities include efficiently managing customer P&Ls, as well as rebate and commercial contract validation processes. I am also responsible for cost control including leading all processes associated with the plan, Budget and Trends for Opex and monthly performance review.Special Achievements:Successfully led a major project, alongside L’Oréal’s legal team, to roll out an innovative online contract creation and database tool, which integrated commercial policy and enabled the field team to create contracts with instant approval if they fell within acceptable commercial terms. The app has been nominated for the ‘L’Oréal Australia Innovation Award’ for 2018.

As Matrix Brand Controller, I was responsible for financial control of the Matrix brand portfolio with consolidated net sales of $21M, a marketing budget of $4.7M and profit of $2.2M. This included P&L optimisation with a focus on maintaining a comprehensive awareness of risks and opportunities in the signature P&L, with a view to optimising business drivers.I successfully managed Advertising and Promotions spend across the Matrix brand, liaising with the Marketing, Development and Sales teams to ensure spend was in line with Budget and Forecasts. Additionally, I was responsible for managing Opex and ensuring that internal controls were adhered to across commercial contracts, promotion discount approvals, purchase order policy and personal expense reimbursements.

In this role, I reported directly to the CFO and worked alongside the MD, gaining exposure across the business both in Australia and internationally, whilst working as the key contact between the local finance teams and the Zone finance team. With responsibility for centralised financial reporting requirements for all divisions of L’Oréal Australia, I successfully managed cost control for all L’Oréal Australia shared costs, as well as ensuring a high level of compliance to internal control best practices.I was also involved in the formalisation and implementation of a range of key processes across the organisation.Special Achievements:Assigned as a key member of the L’Oréal Refurbishment Committee, which managed refurbishment of the head office, with a $1.5M budget. The refurbishment received overwhelming commendation from both L’Oréal Australia employees as well as Zone, was featured in Vogue magazine and was nominated for many local and International design awards. The committee was also nominated for the 'L’Oréal Australia Impact Award' for 2016.

Responsible for cost control management/Opex for L’Oréal Australia’s Consumer Products Division, across all spend categories. Ensured compliance within internal controls and policies, as well as developing and implementing processes to support operational efficiency and sustainability.

Responsible for supporting the Marketing Controller across all key functions including analysing costs in line with budgets, forecasts and actual spend, supporting the forecasting process and developing financial reports in the internal Magnitude & OGWin systems.

With 625HR YTT Certification, I have experience in teaching Yoga to corporate and private groups of up to 60 students. My Vinyasa classes consist of flowing sequences, integrating breath and movement with an emphasis on alignment, functional anatomy and core engagement. My classes are accessible to all levels, with individual attention and hands-on adjustments offered to each student.
