My bachelor's degree in Medical Natural Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam taught me how to best confront problems with an interdisciplinary mindset. I leveraged this skill extensively during my Master's in Forensic Science at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) when confronted with challenging forensic issues. In addition to my acquired knowledge during my degrees, I believe I have great attention to the smallest details and have a strong sense of bringing about justice in casework. In addition to these characteristics, while working as a Teaching Assistant and tutor, I often have to convey difficult concepts in an easily understandable way. This is once again a useful skill I hope to be able to apply moving forward.
