As an attorney, I have gained my legal experience as a prosecutor, law clerk, intern and through personal projects. This experience includes:Administration – I have been in charge of managing attorneys and staff. This includes keeping monthly reports and holding performance evaluation meetings. I have implemented ideas and procedures in my office and also between several different agencies which resulted in more efficient policies and better structure. Some of these ideas have included the case management of the attorneys, implementation of digital software and forms and setting up and conducting meetings to allow for the appropriate communication. I have been involved, in a significant capacity, in the hiring of individuals, both attorneys and staff, in our office. I am also HIPPA Certified and trained.Litigation – I have been lead attorney on numerous jury trials and bench trials. I have handled numerous cases from the beginning to end. This includes making charging decisions, preliminary stages and taking the case completely through the appellate process. These cases have included criminal charges of high profile sexual battery, lewd conduct, domestic battery, felony drug cases down through the everyday infractions. Research and writing – I have completed numerous briefs, both civil and criminal, that were submitted for the final decision and judgment of the court. I have researched specific issues and provided the court with the appropriate memorandum which stated a summary and full detail of my findings and conclusions. Small business – I have set up small businesses, both for profit and nonprofit. Meeting with clientele in the formation of ideas and planning and completed the appropriate documentation in helping the ideas through the first steps of becoming a business. Interests - I am currently enrolled in school, I am seeking a computer science degree. I am continually learning Chinese and interested in the patent an intellectual property field.
