As a researcher at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, I collaborate with Dr. Stolee and Dr. Ore to investigate student performance in code review and refactoring. My work involves designing, conducting, and analyzing studies that utilize the GitHub API, Python, R, and various data analysis tools. Following the completion of a recent study, I co-authored a paper which we submitted to a prestigious computer science conference.

For the East Chapel Hill Rotary Club, I manage their website, managing its content and design. I work with different members within the Rotary Club to put up information about new events that are going on, update information like meeting times, and upload images of their recent events. In addition, I manage their backend infrastructure, doing updates and managing their website hosting/domain name provider.

I work at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in North Raleigh as their Youth Intern where I work with the Youth Director to plan and execute youth group on Sunday nights as well as other Youth events such as the Ski Trip or the All-Youth Retreat. I meet with the Youth Director every week to create a plan for the youth group meeting and come up with games and a flow for the evening. Then during youth group, I run some of the activities that are planned, and when not leading the activities, I get to engage in fellowship and build relationships with the youth.

During the Summer of 2022, I was an intern for Raleigh Youth Mission. In that summer, we had groups coming to Raleigh from all over the country and along with my co-intern and the director of RYM, we worked to bring a great experience where middle school and high school youth can learn about racial and social justice and how faith plays into those ideas. As an intern, I lead groups to different non-profits throughout the Raleigh area, working along side them as we sorted vegetables or we packed meals to hand out later. And in the evening, my co-intern and I held discussions about the work that was done that day, how important that work is, and how can we change the systems in our world to make life better for all.

At Finely Golf Course, I worked outside and inside the Pro-Shop. Outside the Pro-shop entails taking out carts in the morning and during that day help return them and get them ready for the next while making sure that the driving range is sufficiently filled. Working inside the Pro-shop entails working in a retail-like environment, selling merchandise as well as checking in customers for their tee time and making sure everything is running smoothly for a great experience.
