Having previously worked for Eastern Industrial Automation in 2018, the company reached out to me to enhance sales performance on their platform, directpneumatics.com once more. My primary responsibility was to develop a comprehensive and permanent solution for analyzing the website's taxonomy structure. By leveraging SQL and Microsoft Power BI, I conducted a thorough analysis and presented actionable insights to senior executives. As a result of these efforts, we achieved an 18% increase in sales within the department.

While at NTT DATA, I performed multiple roles as my practice's Data Visualization Expert and Technical Project lead. In my time with the company, I gained certifications for the cloud-based process mining software Celonis. Utilizing this software, I worked with both a major international airline and a major media production company to analyze their ITSM (ServiceNow) data. As the Technical Lead on these engagements, my responsibilities included negotiating deliverables with the client, being the point of contact for all technological-related issues for the project, and utilizing agile methodologies to ensure that deadlines were met and quality deliverables were completed. This was all done as a preparation for me to go and propose and discuss findings and solutions with SVPs. In addition to the prior responsibilities, I trained and managed offshore resources so that they could utilize the Celonis software. This was to provide them the ability to support both me and my department with Celonis engagement. Lastly, while working on the projects, I was responsible for designing all data visualizations and utilizing them to analyze the data for client use.

As an Undergraduate Researcher at Purdue University, I was the primary contributor to a project that was about analyzing what is possibly the largest adolescent Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) data set. I needed to learn as much as I could about the condition within a 3 month period before beginning work on the data itself, and I would go on to become the expert on the autoimmune disease within our lab. After receiving the files from the doctors who were in charge of gathering the data, I did a variety of work for the analysis. This work included creating Tableau dashboards, participating in research symposiums, writing academic papers, and writing Python code to create a web-based analysis tool. This tool was intended to be a prototype for a software that would be designed to ingest and visualize a variety of types of medical data. During this time, I made a discovery that started the domino effect of helping prepubescent adolescents with Lupus. The lab continues to work on this project to this day.

During my time with Roche Diagnostics, I had three primary responsibilities. The first two were redesigning the finance department's internal website and finding ways to implement artificial intelligence and machine learning into the finance department's routine analysis. However, my primary job was to create a Tableau dashboard that ingested all of the company's financial data weekly. The Tableau work I had done required me to learn the nature of the finance department's SAP instance. After doing so, I would modify their Alteryx workflows and utilize SQL to feed the data into the dashboard. This dashboard was designed to work from the highest level employee of the company down to the lowest. Once completed, I presented the dashboard to the company's CFO and taught him and his team how to utilize the dashboard and its visualizations to their fullest potential as I introduced them to newer data visualization techniques.

At Thermo Systems, I was the primary employee designing the warning systems for the addition to the University of Massachusetts Amherst. This was completed using the FactoryTalk Suite, where I would configure different alarms based on client qualifications and OSHA standards. In addition to this, I assisted in setting up computer networking and PLC server connections at MIT. Lastly, I wrote crucial tutorials so that incoming control system employees could be ready for client work.

As a freelance UX designer, I designed the layout and redesign for the Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs by utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud. In addition, so that future work could be done on the website, I trained an employee in both UX design software as well as basic design principles.

At UPS I had two primary responsibilities: creating and analyzing Power BI dashboards and being a scrum master for an agile development team. For the Power BI dashboards, I needed to visualize senior management's financial data to present the allocations of the company's projects. To perform this task, I needed to clean and manipulate copious amounts of data so that senior management could best understand their financials. As for my scrum master role, I would consistently meet with the product owner to analyze their business problem. This was done so that we could find potential solutions that were both financially and technically feasible. To meet client needs, I would create user stories based on the product owner's requirements and communicate the acceptance criteria to my team. To keep everyone on schedule, I would create sprint schedules for the app development and adjust the project plan where needed to meet our deadline.

My primary task at Eastern Industrial Automation was to perform data cleansing within their international marketing department. I did this so I could best edit the taxonomy structure on the company's website. While doing this, I would also perform data analysis on the product line purchase history to help the company determine which new products to sell and which to remove. Each week, I would present my analysis to a product specialist to verify my findings. In my short time at the company, I helped the company earn an extra $1,000 in sales, which grew to be much more after I finished my position.
