Heliodon Lighting was established in Boise, Idaho in 2014. Heliodon's mission is twofold. Primarily, the objective is to aid in solving energy inefficiencies in current facilities and new construction, while at the same time lowering the carbon footprint and environmental impact these facilities create. Heliodon focuses on retrofitting existing structures and new construction with advanced LED lighting technology and control systems. In the Retrofit application, Heliodon works with building owners, managers, and other various individuals to identify lighting inefficiencies via a lighting audit and thus perform any necessary replacements of lighting systems and controls. When dealing with new construction, Heliodon works with lighting designers, architects, and contractors to determine LED lighting needs and insure product reliability.
