I did a two week placement at McCann after being scouted during my University final year degree show. The two week placement ended up becoming three weeks, due to the team wanting to keep me longer. During this placement I was put in the motion graphics team, while working in this team I helped with preparing motion pieces ready for a pitch and to one of their major clients. The work the team created was met with a great response and allowed for the project to move forward. For my final week I was put into the graphic design team. In this team I was tasked to great various design art works and ideas for potential re-branding for a company although my placement ended before I could hear the results of this work, The team at McCann were still pleased with what I created.The three weeks I spent at McCann were a great learning opportunity and I really feel like I grew as a designer while I was there.
