This included the use of AutoCad to digitize floor plans to calcuate the square footage. Our team saved the university roughly $200,000.*Tract/Property Inventory: I was part of a team that digitized plats and property maps as old as 100 years using AutoCad in efforts to reconcile any differences make necessary changes.*Convert AutoCad basemaps to Shapefiles: The university the ArcGIS suite, my responsibilities included converting our AutoCad basemaps into shapefiles making sure the conversion went smoothly, filling in gaps, making necessary corrections.
