Course Instructor for: Well Control (IWCF level 2.4, surface & subsea), Introduction to Drilling Technology, Drilling Calculations, Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) and High Pressure, High Temperature (HPHT) courses, in the order of 2-45 participants. Development of materials, manuals, presentations, simulation exercises, assignments and tests. Results: - Author of the Company’s Managed Pressure Drilling syllabus and manual, with illustrations. - Converted Well Control Exercise-manual from Oilfield specific units to Metric units.- Translated Well Control theory manual from English to Norwegian, quality assurance and rewriting of large parts, with the market's best Norwegian well control manual to refer to, written in accordance with International Well Control Forum's syllabus.

Main tasks and responsibilities:- Organize the work in the drilling areas in cooperation with Roughnecks and Derrickman, and assist the driller in conducting the drilling and well operation in a safe manner according to plans and procedures.- Educate and follow up on drill crew competence and training - including Trainees.- Organize drilling equipment for operations.- Pressure- and leak-testing of all Well Control Equipment in accordance with requirements.- Measure and register all 3rd party downhole equipment prior to used.- Work as driller if required or for training purposes.

Responsible for operation, maintenance and any repairs of pumps, mixing system and associated equipment. Use of chemicals for mud mixing. Responsible for correct line-up of pipes and valves, maintaining mud properties and density in accordance to program and Mud Engineer's instructions. Responsible for the training of Roughnecks regards to advancement in position.Aid and assist drillfloor, Assistant Driller and maintenance department when needed.

Responsible for performing work on the drill floor, as part of the drilling crew. Typical tasks include preparing the drill floor for ongoing and future operations, use of handling equipment, winches, personnel winches, maintenance of drilling equipment (Scheduled or as needed), mud treatment equipment, cleaning and compliance with HSE requirements and culture. Assisting the Derrickman in operating the pump room.

Entered as fixed part of offshore crew in rotation, as well as land-based work in leave periods as Operational Planner for the rig, and to relieve RigManager if required, responsible for logging, managing and delegating of synergies, contribute to facilitate continuous operation by aiding offshore with management of equipment and personnel, participating in morning meetings with customers and rig, After Action Reviews, and updating checklists and procedures. Was also an important contributor in the implementation of the new reporting system for daily drilling reports and is responsible for the back logging of previous reports with regards to correct tracking of KPI.
