  As a pre-K teacher, I work with children one-on-one and in groups, supervise activities, and keep students on task. I help introduce students to new concepts that are to be explored further in kindergarten, such as early literacy and mathematical experiences. On weekly basis I create schedules and routines, ensuring children have a proper routine to allow a balance in the classroom. Furthermore, I plan curriculum targeting areas to each child's development skills. Daily tasks also include updating parents on their child's progress with daily record keeping and documentation.
