My academical work focuses on the relationship between crime and urban design. In particular, I have investigated the connection between urban vegetation and crime.I have done an internship in Guarda Nacional Republicana, a Portuguese police force. I also have working experience in a private consultancy company that specializes in the field of correctional services, in planning and developing international projects focused on improving penitentiary operating systems, including structure and ICT , prison staff relationship and training, inmate education and work programs, as well as rehabilitation models. I have experience in project management, e-learning management, production of technical reports, technical translation, congress and workshop organization, design development, etc.
