The Portuguese operators, although working in partnership were still competitors; it was necessary to provide to WeDo Technologies competitors a strong value proposition to sponsor the event and there were still the internal clients which didn’t want to deal with their competitors. On top, there was GSMA who owned the event and had a strict compliant rules book and finally the attendees from around the world.My responsibility included project managing, defining a financing model, managing budget and providing all stakeholders a great experience in Portugal.The event was attended by 135 delegates, generating more than 40 000 euros in sponsorships and a 20% net profit.
