Powered by People is a B2B wholesale marketplace representing over 600+ makers from 60 countries and selling to independent retailers across North America. My personal mission at Powered by People is to grow and activate our two sided marketplace through integrated product, marketing and content efforts across our North American buyer and Global maker communities.1. Led integrated marketing efforts across all digital channels and grew our North American buyer network from 0- 20,000+ I grew revenues 10X I expanded brand awareness across North American audiences 2. Spearheaded product led growth strategies that impacted top of funnel metrics across awareness, acquisition and sign up3. Led paid marketing efforts across all channels (Linkedin, FB, SEO, SEM) and optimised acquisition CAC’s 4. Established cross-cutting affiliate programmes for our 600+ supplier base through product led and content marketing led efforts ; managed community marketing efforts for our maker audiences 5. Every year, the Acumen Fellows Program in India equips 20 extraordinary individuals with the knowledge, support system and practical wisdom to drive positive change in society. Over the course of a year, Fellows remain in their jobs while taking part in five week-long seminars, where they receive the tools, training and space to innovate new ideas, accelerate their impact, build a strong network of social leaders from across their region and around the world.

The Institute for transformational technologies was set up with support from Rockefeller Foundation and Google to bring to life, the most critical technology breakthroughs required for sustainable global development. The ITT solution involved deeply defining the social problem, leveraging early stage technology from around the world, engineering the technology into affordable, demand-based products and creating partnerships with organizations capable of mass scale. The outcome was a model that ensured user-centered design, market adoption and a scaling infrastructure for long-term sustainability. At ITT, I led product development, business strategy and people for the India operations (~15 people across Mumbai and Delhi) and worked across a wide range of technological innovations – from AI based healthcare tech, solar powered refrigerators and drills to worm based sanitation tech – and built a vibrant portfolio for the India operations.

7 years of strategy consulting experience at Dalberg Global Development Advisors, a global management consulting firm dedicated to solving issues of international concern facing emerging/developing economies. As a part of the firm’s Senior Management, I have managed multi stakeholder partnerships across a variety of functions and travelled to/worked with global teams across geographies including – South Korea, Japan, Kenya, South Africa,Bangladesh and India. As a founding member of Dalberg in India, I have also played a significant role in new business development, client management and setting up internal processes on HR and strategic partnerships on recruitment for the firm. My efforts contributed to grow the Dalberg India platform from a team of 2 in 2009 to 50 in 2016.
