• Developed a system to detect deformities and discontinuities in aerospace materials using square PCB inductor coils and Eddy Current technology for material defect evaluation and maintenance• Conducted experiments to determine the efficacy of a drone‑based infrared thermography defect detection system to reduce the need for human testing in dangerous areas• Researched and compiled a report on the effectiveness of different Machine Learning models for automatic defect detection and analysis of radiographic images

• Built a wired, analog load cell that could measure and read forces over 50 kN, using a strain gauge, bridge circuit, and amplifier to reduce project costs associated with load cells and charge amplifiers• Wrote an Ignition Python script to monitor humidex values, obtained from tags connected to sensors on the shop floor, to send out email alerts and recommended actions based on company policy• Wired a timing circuit that sends a constant voltage to a charge amplifier when a proximity sensor is triggered

• Developed an IoT program that detected and inputted sensor data into a SQL database and displayed it using MQTT broker and Node Red• Planned, designed, and assembled the hardware for a data collection node used in an IoT application• Designed and implemented a GUI to control a new mechanism• Designed and programmed a UI/UX to display sensor data and status for analysis• Prepared samples, conducted materials testing, and created reports for over 250 material samples using metallurgical equipment• Performed weld analysis, imaging, and image annotation of over 200 images for Machine Learning applications
