About Waterloo Engineering Endowment Foundation
Founded in 1990 by two engineering students, Avi Belinsky and John Vellinga, WEEF is the oldest student-run and student-funded endowment in Canada. The Foundation funds over $500,000 in student and faculty initiatives each year to improve the undergraduate engineering student experience.
