As Group Architecture Director I am responsible for leading and overseeing the architecture practice within the Business Solutions team at Gorilla. This involves managing a team of experienced Enterprise Architects, maintaining the methodology, processes, templates, and artifacts used within our solutioning practice, and providing technical leadership across key client accounts to ensure that solutions are designed effectively and delivered as planned.I am involved in all phases of the project lifecycle at Gorilla including business development, scoping and estimation, solutioning and technical design, implementation, testing and release. I work closely with sales leads to respond to RFPs and meet with prospective clients to understand their business problems and build solution proposals. I help maintain and refine our scope tables and estimates across various platforms to improve and ensure accuracy when scoping solutions.During the solution and design phase I work closely with client stakeholders to understand and document technical and integration requirements for their solutions, and provide detailed diagrams, process flows, and other technical artifacts to capture the overall solution effectively. These artifacts are also maintained and distributed within the solution team for use as templates and reference architecture for future solutions.Finally, I ensure that the handoff from design and solutioning to implementation is executed smoothly and that our development teams have all of the necessary information and requirements in order to deliver projects successfully. I continue to work closely with engineers and Delivery Leads throughout each project to address any challenges that arise and to provide ongoing technical leadership for clients and partners as well as our internal teams.

​As an Enterprise Architect at Gorilla I am responsible for the design and implementation of custom Commerce web applications, currently focusing on solutions for the Adobe Commerce and SAP Commerce. I joined Gorilla as a technical leader to help build and develop our digital commerce practice. As a software engineer and member the backend development team at Geary Interactive I am responsible for designing, building, and maintaining web applications for clients, including Commerce, CMS, and other custom built web applications.My role involves web development skills primarily using PHP, ASP.NET, and JavaScript, and knowledge and expertise on CMS platforms such as Drupal and Wordpress. I work closely with project and account managers and clients to understand business requirements and translate these to technical requirements and specifications, and then own the implementation and successful delivery of technical solutions to our clients.
