The creation of the N.Y. Cake Academy was an obvious choice to compliment our main business at N.Y. Cake. Since the founding of the business, my mother and I have been passionate about giving back to others in the community by teaching about cake baking and decorating.The N.Y. Cake Academy serves the NYC area and provides a wide variety of classes to learn more about the world of cake. Classes are available to people of all skill levels on concepts like macaroons, cake layers, fillings, and general cake baking. I still teach classes, alongside a number of talented guest lecturers.

I’ve had the distinct privilege of leading N.Y. Cake since its humble beginnings in the back of my Father’s cosmetic store in 1991. Although our forms and functions have changed slightly since then, our mission has remained the same: become the central cake + baking supply hub for bakers all around the world.We've had the fortune of growing tremendously over the past two decades, becoming the largest cake + baking supply distributor in New York with thriving businesses in retail, online, and wholesale. We operate from our 6,500 sq ft landmark store in downtown Manhattan and our 20,000 sq ft warehouse in Yonkers.

At N.Y. Cake + Baking Supply, We’ve always strived to provide our customers the best experience when purchasing baking supplies, or attending one of our classes, but never had the opportunity to serve them our baked goods more directly… until now.The N.Y. Cake Café is our latest venture into the cake world. Attached to our flagship store at 118 West 22nd street in downtown Manhattan, the N.Y. Cake Cafe will be a 400 sq foot facility serving a delicious assortment of specialty chocolates, cupcakes, cakes, and coffees. Stay tuned for further updates!

I am the creator and Founder of the N.Y. Cake Show, one of the largest shows in the world dedicated solely to cake decorating. I created the event with the intent of of developing an outlet to foster growth within the cake industry. The attendees and event participants are able to participate in a variety of cake decorating competitions, and have the opportunity to network and self-promote within the industry.Since starting in 2013, the show has grown from 125 people in our warehouse in Yonkers to over 5,000 in 2017.
