In BII's Women's Health Initiative I drove activities within landscape and policy analysis, awareness, network, and and external collaborations and stakeholders.

I have supported the organization and our start-ups in two key areas: I was employed at BII to develop and implement application and screening processes and support the development of new programs. Along the way, I helped establish new advisory groups of relevant VCs to evaluate our applicants, engage due diligence partners for application review, and generally streamline and optimize processes. I have developed and led the BII strategy for ‘Soft funding assistance’ for our startups. Utilizing my own experience on funding schemes and engaging external partners, BII teams can easily access help for screening for opportunities and assistance with grant proposal writing.

At TechFunding I helped companies identify and apply for public funding for R&D projects. I assisted with funding identification, overall funding strategy, project scoping and development, budget planning etc. – and ultimately wrote the application for you. Our focus is Danish grants such as Innovationsfonden, Markedsmodningsfonden and EUDP, and European programmes like Horizon 2020 (specifically SME Instrument) and Eurostars.

At the Europe House (the representation of the European Commission and the European Parliament in Denmark) I provided answers to various questions about the EU from mainly the public. I also coordinated events with external partners and contributed to different communication tasks.

In this position I was responsible for producing our weekly newsletter and news articles for the website. I also did political reporting on domestic politics and EU issues in the Danish press for the Brussels headquarter and carried out other communication tasks such as translation, writing subtitles for info films, and presentations on the EU etc.

When working for the Danish Parliament in Brussels I helped determine which important items on the European Parliament’s agenda to monitor. I participated in committee meetings and did background research on the concerned legislative proposals and delivered frequent reporting to the International Department of the Danish Parliament.
