Responsibility for the implementation and running of all of the Oncology MDT meetings at The London Clinic.During my time in this role and my previous role I increased the number of meetings from 60 to over 160 per year. I created and implemented the MDT Operational Policy as well as Standards of Practice for MDT members. I was responsible for ensuring that all of the MDT documentation aligned with the Clinical and Information Governance polices of The London Clinic.Within my role I met regularly with senior managers, Board members and MDT Chairs to discuss KPIs and service improvement. I reported audit data to the Clinical Governance Committee and provided regular reports to the Board regarding activity.Always looking for ways to improve the MDT Service, I worked with the IT department to build a SharePoint site to store the MDT meeting outcomes to allow for easier access by the relevant departments across the hospital.
