Seeking exciting challenges at work, including roles that either include technical or executive people leadership roles or active engineering roles working on intricate and complex problems. I have extensive experience working with and architecting solutions from concept to shipping at scale. This includes internationally shipped work. Additional experience implementing generative AI initiatives is an ideal plus. I embrace our future AI overlords. ;)As a people leader, I have worked in executive roles and have strong experience managing both up and down. At my peak in a management role, I've lead organizations with multiple sub-managers and 55 engineers spanning from North America to India across multiple charters. As an engineer, I have spent the majority of the last two and half decades slinging code. I started my career working on the backend, dealing with APIs and data and making fun of frontend UI engineers. Later I transitioned from a backend to a frontend developer, and found I actually liked working with images, fonts and colors. There was a point when this was known as being a full stack engineer. I knew how and what both sides needed. Later I moved into native mobile and platform dev with iOS and macOS. I am especially proficient in the UI/UX layers as these represent the typical type of work I enjoy doing. My experience does, however, span API and server side work, native application development and even some database management. Programming for me is an artistic outlet; something I love to do and am impassioned by. I am constantly looking up and playing with the latest evolution of ECMA Script (ES6/2016-2022+)/JavaScript features, HTML5 tips and tricks and the latest fun with CSS3.I am always interested in hearing about situations that would help me learn new technologies, meet bright talented people and things that could help me develop the skills to be tomorrow's developer. I speak a smattering of languages with varying degrees of proficiency. These days I lean into AI and am keen to explore blockchain. The future is now.NOTEI am in the process of whipping a website into shape and tailoring resumes for both people leadership and deep engineering roles. In the meantime, please save my LinkedIn profile as PDF (this is an option)./NOTE
