E-Commerce Campaigns Am (Consumer Brands)L'Oréal Jan 2023 - May 2023London, England, United KingdomSituated in a fast paced and extremely responsive campaigns team, we worked to drive conversion [sales] of our customers, rather than recruitment of new ones [which sat with product marketing]. With stakeholders from product marketing, commercial sales, digital, merchandising and management committee teams, I had to balance the needs of over 30 people in conceiving and executing conversion based (predominantly online) campaigns in media platforms that drove traffic to our D2C, high street and pureplayer sites. From organising social ads, out of home and programmatic, to liaising with agencies on creative video and stills, this role was wide scoped yet focused in its intention.I completed this role whilst leading our UKI pride network. -
Pride Network Co-Chair Uki 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️L'Oréal Jun 2022 - May 2023London, England, United KingdomStarting in 2019 I worked alongside Ellis Lanyon and Matt Spiteri in developing our pride network in the UK after it was set up in 2018 by Adrian Koskas [Global GM Garnier]. Upon Ellis relocating to LA in 2022, I was privileged to take on leadership of the pride network alongside Matt. My time leading the employee resource group [ERG] was both hard work and fruitful for our development as a leader for LGBTQIA inclusion in our industry. We worked alongside external strategic agencies to develop a strong 2 year strategy for the ERG to develop and support our community more effectively, alongside our consumers, building on the success of our Bronze award on Stonewall's Workplace Equality Index. I co-managed the new sponsoring of Manchester Pride with L’Oreal UKI, created the parade identity and supported the team with organising L’Oreal’s participation. Additionally co-produced a campaign alongside National Student Pride, sponsored by L'Oréal UKI and NYX Professional Makeup. During my time with L'Oréal's pride network we raised over £100,000 toward select LGBTQIA+ charities in education, mental health and trans support. In 2023 we were awarded a Gold Award and Top100 Employer for our work in LGBTQIA+ inclusion, a moment we were all very proud of. -

Product Management Executive - LancômeL'Oréal Jan 2022 - Jul 2022London, United KingdomManaging campaign assets, copy, visuals- stills and video, working closely with agency suppliers in luxury makeup, skincare and fragrance category launches. This role also involved analysing the market and developing consumer + competition research pieces for our national and international commercial and product teams. I managed legal and scientific approvals in accordance with UK Advertising Standards Agency regulations and Clearcast, our UK TV Ad regulator across all Lancôme UKI assets. This was a challenging yet rewarding aspect of the role creating fair and captivating campaigns that showed the true power of our products with effective claims. I was pleased to also retouch UKI visuals of our spokesmodels in accordance with UK beauty standards and fair and reasonable grounds. An early part of my role consisted of managing our 25,000 strong 'MyLancôme Community' where our brand lovers engaged with our platforms and were able to try product out and review. This aided me producing our reviews for upcoming products on-site when new products launched. A particular point of enjoyment in this role for me was heading up our UKI D2C product page and email marketing designs that produced effective output on sales. For example we succeeded in producing a UK No.2 Face Serum, with our Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum, that also won Sunday Times Style award. I designed the site pages and worked on all creative media assets for the biggest campaign in the brand's history, the 10 year anniversary of La Vie Est Belle with spokesmodel Julia Roberts, and additionally had the pleasure of managing a full campaign launch omni-channel [with corresponding teams], the new E-Shade finder tool in tandem with relaunching the UK's Number 1 foundation, Teint Idôle with Zendaya. -

National Accounts ExecutiveL'Oréal Jun 2019 - Dec 2020London, United KingdomFrom promotion planning, ranging and debt management to deep diving into market insights territory, my role had a wide fixture on commercial processes required to effectively manage the L’Oreal Group Consumer Product portfolio, across L'Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline and Essie on the Cooperative Group and National Independent Retailers, whilst managing promotions and activation for non-cosmetics beauty care categories on a £4m account with occasional managerial support. Assistant Programme LeaderNcs The Challenge May 2018 - Sep 2018Leeds, West Yorkshire, United KingdomNCS provides a life changing experience for 15-17 year olds in completing two weeks residential in personal outdoor challenges and team challenges culminating in two weeks of charity work for a local partner. My role as a Senior Mentor was to take my team of 12 individuals from day 1 and introduce them to a curriculum beyond that of what is learned at school or college. The summer programme focuses on challenging yourself and making sure that young people are aware of the wider world around them, aside from their digital lives, resulting in a chance to take up charity opportunities. As a Senior Mentor, it was my responsibility to ensure facilitation and guiding the young people through the curriculum and taking them on challenges, building and managing the team, and ensuring they were motivated to complete their social action project undertaken with their community partner. My summer with NCS involved me on two waves of the programme facilitating and mentoring two teams of young people. The role involved ‘locus parentis’ residential care, often with teenagers with notably challenging behaviour or physical and mental disabilities, resulting in additional care. Upon the end of my time with NCS, my appraisal resulted in the highest score in the North East with promotion to a Programme Leader following the resignation of a colleague, managing the staff team of mentors and support workers, and inferably the wave of 60-80 young people, on my later waves of the programme. -
