Since I was a kid, I’ve always been in favor of change. Change can include new ways of thinking about yourself and the world around you, eliminating an old routine to create a new one, or simply moving from one place to another. Either way, change is both a cause and effect of personal growth via education and experience. To promote this, I also never turn down an opportunity strictly because it means getting out of my comfort zone. Whether it be teaching English and Business to High School students in Italy, moving to a city I've never seen for a job I knew little about, or becoming a Supervisor to a team of 10 at 24 years old, I have set myself up to receive these opportunities and took them when they came. In May 2019, after graduating from the University at Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (International Business concentration) and a minor in Italian, I explored my option to work abroad. Coronavirus hit hard in Italy and I was sent home to start job hunting, which led me to one of the biggest freight forwarders in the world and ultimately my current position as Supervisor. Working in an industry that I studied in school and am passionate about puts me in a good position; though at 28, I know there's a lot to come
