Borţun Olteanu Consultanţă (now Dăescu Borţun Olteanu) is an independent PR & Events agency, part of the Millenium People Group., and was officially founded in May 2010, in a process of decentralization, until then functioning as the PR Division of the Millenium People Group.I coordinated the agency’s budget-related activities, supervised all contracts or any other written agreements between the agency and its clients and suppliers, all new business activities and account transfers, all budget negotiations, the monthly and annual business plan management and reports, investments and agency logistics.I was also in charge with the agency’s self-promoting communication activities (credentials, press releases, interviews etc.), the bi-annual personnel evaluation, I managed all administrative tasks, BTL activities and digital activities (in total, 20 people) and outsourcing activities and collaborations. Holcim is a multinational leader company in the cement industry, with more than 4000 employees in Romania.I was in charge of all the company’s events and promotions and support for the media campaigns. My tasks were to assist the Events & Promotions Manager in setting up the best strategy and tactics to promote the company’s products and services, in organizing and coordinating trade events (budget management included) and ensuring branding compliance for all company’s promotional materials and locations. Main projects and accomplishments:During my employment, I started and coordinated a project that targeted a niche of the company’s clients: Clubul Meseriaşilor Zidari (The Professional Masons Club). The project consisted of direct mailings and dedicated events, custom seminaries and courses. I was also part of the team that successfully organized the annual Holcim CEOs Area Meeting, the most important conference for the company’s management, which took part in Romania for the first time in September 2007.

Media Direction is a media planning and buying agency, part of the BBDO international network (now Optimum Media Direction after the merge of BBDO, DDB and TBWA media operations) and during my employment it had 25-50 employees.I was the Corporate PR officer and coordinated, wrote and monitored the agency’s internal newsletter, press releases and website materials. I kept in touch with the advertising industry’s press representatives and other media. I was also in charge of organizing all the agency’s events- trainings, teambuildings and parties. As the HR officer, my tasks included recruitment (first screening), writing and updating job description files, coordinating and implementing the internal HR procedures, identifying and organizing trainings, courses and seminaries for the agency’s employees and coordinating the bi-annual employees’ evaluation.
