I led the team of contractors who designed and built the system to manage the logistics, payments and customer transactions data for the company.Logistics = cargo tracking including find location of package inside a box that is inside a bigger box (recursive search) - also manages pick-up and delivery of of goods + fleet management, etc...Payments = accept credit cards, generate financial documents eg invoices/receipts/demand-notes/credit-notes, automatic currency conversion, commissions for franchisees, etc...Customer transactions = keep all records for all parties, send email and SMS notifications, automatically reconcile account balances, etc..

I was the only programmer on this project.Project owner = USAID/FHI-360 I built a mobile app running on android tablets that was the backbone of a large country wide survey.It was used to administer 3 complex questionnaires, with very many questions and different follow-up questions based on the answers to earlier questions. The app was used to run a nation-wide survey on sexual behavior and HIV prevalence.It then transmitted the results in real time to the main analytics center in the capital city.Because it was being used country-wide, it had to function perfectly even in offline mode because many places where the survey was conducted DID NOT HAVE internet. As soon as it was connected to internet again (for example at end of day, back at team hotel) it automatically synchronized with cloud server and transmitted all its data.
