Key Expertise: Livelihood and economic development program design and implementation, Financial Inclusion and Women’s economic empowerment, BDS service provision, agricultural development and linkages, and public-private partnership engagement, and multi-stakeholders platform management.CAREER SUMMARY: Nick Obot has over 15 years of experience in complex humanitarian emergency response and sustainable agriculture and rural development in Uganda, managing multi-million-dollar programs with international NGOs, and applying a combination of market facilitation and direct delivery approaches. Currently, he is the Head of Livelihood and Economic Development at the Agency for Sustainable Rural Transformation program in Uganda, worth USD 10M, and was previously Economic Recovery and Development Manager with the International Rescue Committee in Uganda. Nick has extensive experience designing and implementing integrated economic development programs. Nick has huge experience leading large teams in the complex environments of Northern Uganda, West Nile, and Eastern Uganda and has previously led a team of 50+ staff in these regions. He has extensive experience in establishing networks and managing partnerships, and working with public, private, and community-based organizations, with a combined reach of more than 415 producer organizations. Nick has decent experience in collaborative partnerships between governments and international donors, such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the European Union (EU), ICCO, the Embassy of Japan under Grant, Belgium development programs in Uganda, The Netherlands ministry of internal affairs, International Funds for Agriculture- IFAD.

1. Guide the design of economic recovery program within the northern Uganda.2. Guide the implimentation of all programs(agriculture extension, Collective Marketing, Village Savings and Loans Association, Business Development Services, Public-private partnership and Value Chain Development) in northern Uganda3.
