Fatigue SpecialistOcean Resource Renewables Apr 2008 - May 2014United KingdomLowering the cost of offshore wind using patented highly optimised shallow and deep water self installing wind turbine foundation structures.Sea Breeze is a game changing "tow-out-and-sink" buoyant gravity base foundation for up to 60m water depth that can carry a WTG already assembled onto it to the offshore location and is then ballasted to the seabed using seawater. Removing most of the offshore work reduces the cost and risks. The levelised cost of energy (LCOE) is therefore reduced by at least 11%.
