I am a motivated, self-starting individual and effective team player with a track record for going the extra mile in my professional and volunteering roles. I am passionate about conservation and ecology, undertaking various voluntary roles over the last ten years, as well as this being my academic specialism. I also gained valuable experience in the practical application of conservation principles during my summer placement at Hyder Consulting.I recently completed a research based MSc in Ecology at the University of East Anglia, delivering successfully to demanding timescales, working effectively with various stakeholders, and demonstrating high levels of initiative, organisation and problem solving. I take great pride in all aspects of my work, and always stretch myself to deliver outcomes which exceed expectations. In my role as customer assistant in the Tesco organisation I have received two awards for exceptional customer service, and as an under-graduate received a commendation for being an outstanding student representative at UKC.I have a strong sense of social responsibility, undertaking a number of voluntary roles in my community, largely within conservation and ecology. I had an inspirational and valuable experience as a Games Maker in the London 2012 Paralympics, and came away with an appreciation of the power of individual contribution within an effective team working environment. During my time as an under-graduate I also received a Certificate for Volunteering Gold Award for logging over one hundred hours of voluntary work per year.
