The Student Branch Vice-Chair is the junior Executive Officer. Working with the Branch Chair with the workload, oversee the subcommittees, and manage the activities throughout the semester.Duties include:• Preside at meetings of the Student Branch Executive Committee.• Chair the Program and Membership Committees.• Work with the chair to Complete the annual Activity Report• Organize field trips or special events beyond regular program efforts.• Assist the Branch Chair in following up on assigned committee responsibilities.• Communicate frequently with local University IEEE Student Branches.• Perform all functions of the Branch Chair in his absence or upon request.

My responsibilities is to Lead IEEE Day and invite all Jordanian student branches to celebrate IEEE Day 2015.

The Student Branch Treasurer is responsible for maintaining the financial accounts. It is imperative that all records be kept current and as accurate as possible.The specific duties include:• Prepare an annual budget for inclusion in the Annual Activity Report • Prepare the final Financial Statement for inclusion in the Annual Activity Report.• Oversee all fundraising efforts.• Arrange for an orderly transfer of all financial records to the incoming Treasurer.

The National Energy Research Center (NERC) which is part of the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) and has been established in Amman for the purposes of research, development, training in the fields of new and renewable energy and raising the standards of energy use in the different sectors.NERC is intended to:1. Perform studies, research, and experimental projects in fields of renewable energy.2. Manage and operate laboratories, units and research & experimental stations to develop and use new and renewable energy sources and sell produced energy to the grid.3. Carry out training courses, seminars and workshops to enhance the abilities and technologies necessary for the use of new and renewable energies.My role as a trainee was to involve with several teams and to get exposure to renewable energy resources and technologies, supporting the engineers at NERC.Projects Participated :• Photovoltaic project with 770 kWp nominal capacity in Phildelphia University.• Machreq Energy Development Solar (smart microgrid system).
