Representative Projects - Goldman Sachs:• Model Risk Management: Engagement Manager in a project that reviewed the entire inventory of models for Goldman Sachs Security Division. Reviewed derivatives and structured products pricing models for the bank’s Equities trading desks. Managed the documentation of Credit Desk models related to valuation adjustments, counterparty credit risk, scenario analysis. Worked closely with the Strats in order to understand the different products specifications, pricing models, and credit adjustments, and enhance the existing models documentation. Managed a team of professional in US and India, facilitating their work performing Regression Testing, Risk Factor Sensitivities Testing and CCAR testing for Risk Factor Sensitivities such Spot, Vol, IR, Dividends, Funding Spread. • Balance Sheet Model Validation: Managed the validation of Goldman Sachs balance sheet projection model, using Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) and Dodd-Frank Annual Stress Testing (DFAST) methodologies. Documented the consolidated bank’s balance sheet and liquidity position by business and product over a nine quarter horizon under various economic scenarios and capital plan assumptions.• Volcker Rule Implementation: Worked with Market Risk Management and Analysis generating trading metrics reports related to VaR / Stressed VaR, PnL, Risk Position Limits and Usage and Inventory Turnover for the entire bank’s Market Making and Risk Mitigating Inventories (per trading desk). Developed RENTD (Reasonable Expected Near Term Demand) models for the following trading desks: Equities – Structured Products; Fixed Income – RMBS, CBS, CDO; Foreign Exchange Options. Created testing models for: hedge effectiveness (using VaR comparisons between Market Making Inventory and Risk Mitigating Inventory), and Risk Factor Sensitivity efficiency (using Standard Deviation). Representative Projects:• Top 5 European Investment Bank: Equities Trading Desk Process Improvement – Managed a team of 4 consultants to deliver a strategy for improving the entire front-office process of the Global Equities trading desk, enhancing the overall traders understanding of the different risk management and trading systems. Redefined the general data gathering, distribution and management for the pricing, market risk calculations and regulatory reporting of more than 20 different equities instruments (cash products and derivatives – options, futures/ forwards and swaps).• Top 5 US Investment Bank: Credit Risk Management – Delivered recommendations for a Credit Risk Dashboard that controls the risk of the bank portfolio, improves the risk reporting and assures a risk-centric data integrity. Improved risk reporting related to PD / PL, LGD / EAD, and created a more robust forecasting and stress testing engine for RWA.• Top Global Bank: Basel Enterprise PMO – Program manager role, providing advisory for the overall coordination of the bank’s Basel program implementation. Provided necessary information to the program leadership and key stakeholders to make effective and timely decisions. Reviewed internal processes for regulatory gaps and respective milestones. Reshaped and built a more robust program reporting to the Board of Directors and Regulators. Investment Bank focused on Africa and Latin America, with partnerships with banks in Angola and Brazilian companies interested in investing in high-growth developing markets.Initiated partnerships with development banks in Angola and originated M&A deal and debt financing for clients in a diverse group of industries.Representative Deals:• M&A – Directed the valuation and acquisition project of a metallic structure factory (valued at $40 million) by a mid-market construction company from São Paulo, leading the buyer on the acquisition transaction• Venture Capital – Conducted the feasibility study and contacted investors to distribute a biodegradable agricultural fertilizer from a US company in Latin America, resulting in a $10 million investment from a Brazilian Venture Fund• Debt Financing – Worked on the negotiation of an $8 million senior secured debt financing through the Angolan Bank of Development to extend a client’s project in reforestation and cultivation of eucalyptus

Managed a finance and strategy consulting project at Central Hospital of Huambo (one of the largest hospitals in Angola).Major Achievements:• Directed a budget project, with an European Union commission, detailing the estimated hospital costs for 2009 and headed the negotiation with the Ministry of Health, resulting in an increase of 200% in the budget to $17 million• Assessed and reorganized the accounting procedures of the hospital and developed accurate financial statements, which served as the base for all future planning and controls
