Shop Made in DC is a retail initiative with a mission to grow DC's makers and artists. As the first store dedicated to only Made in DC products, our five store locations in Dupont Circle, Georgetown and the Wharf and two shoppers at the Canopy Embassy Row and The Roost are home to over 300 makers and nearly 5,000 MADE IN DC products including apothecary, apparel, art, furniture, jewelry, home decor and stationery. Shop Made In VA is open online as of February 2021.

GrantRoots provides grant writing services for nonprofit organizations who provide direct services to their clients.

Wrote proposals to local DC-area private and corporate foundations worth nearly $3 million dollars total with a 95% success rate for local nonprofit programs providing direct services. In addition wrote or contributed to successful proposals to the Washington Post Award of Excellence, Chronicle of Philanthropy and Bank of America's Neighborhood Builder's grant.
