I began my career at Colgate Palmolive E.A Ltd. in the year 1996 and scaled the heights to exit as Shift Production Supervisor in 2006 following a restructuring program that saw the Company shut down its factory operations in Kenya. I was always committed to meeting my targets and the company awarded me several certificates of excellence.I acquired a lot of valuable skills while acting as Shift Production Supervisor where I was directly in charge of over 200 personnel working in the factory. My duties involved production planning, availing the required materials from the store, allocating equipment, deploying human labor, ensuring process lines are running seamlessly and generating reports for use by top management.I acquired invaluable skills on materials management while working as the warehouse in-charge at Rift valley Railways before transiting to Kenya Railways. My role as a supply chain assistant at Kenya Railways has exposed me to numerous skills relating to procurement including market survey, formulation of contracts, negotiations, contract award and management.
