CurrentAs a professional in the field of environmental and consumer health, I am responsible for directing, planning, organizing, and coordinating various activities related to these areas. One of my key duties is to supervise the inspection of food establishments, institutions, schools, swimming pools, and spas, to ensure that they maintain proper sanitation. I also oversee the preparation of public health standards, guidelines, and information for environmental and consumer health programs.To ensure compliance with state laws and local ordinances, I evaluate these regulations and develop enforcement procedures. In addition, I work to promote public education about sanitation practices, through one-on-one interactions and public meetings. I also recommend and advocate for environmental sanitation improvements to help keep our communities healthy and safe.
