Work directly with CEO to facilitate effective operations of various scrap yards. I oversee the day to day operations of scrap yard facility including overseeing the receiving, processing, inventorying and shipment of all scrap metals. Implement all shipping and receiving for the yard as planned. Maintain, supervise and schedule all services, upkeep and cleaning. Schedule repairs as needed and maintain records. Loading outbound trucks, keep yard flowing. Schedule roll off pick ups. Maintain scrap quality; ensure loads are dumped in proper locations. Maintain safety program by holding meetings, cover training, implement and enforce yard safety. Close interaction with commercial purchasing/sales team to recommend purchasing /sales volumes, customer satisfaction and quality standard. Continuously train and gain knowledge of scrap yard operations including, but not limited to, sales, transactions, payroll, supply, demand, inventory, etc. Grow revenue through improved procedures, customer satisfaction initiatives and cost control.
