• Managing the design, engineering, bidding and construction stages of an earthwork and utilities package of a 30 hectare expansion area for the 220 hectare free zone in the heart of İzmir.• Developing a brand new 230 hectare free zone investment located on the North end of Aegean region.

• Directed the New Jersey, USA based firm’s Istanbul Office; including providing liaison services for all local accounting; legal and financial operational activities.• Provided business development support in Turkey and surrounding geography with existing and new clients with an aim to foster existing relationships as well as developing new contacts, with a focus on obtaining new work for the firm.• Managed and worked on multiple land development projects in the region including Turkey, CIS region, Russia and Eastern Europe with support to MENA region and other Langan offices as well; including maintaining client relationships; managing local employees, sub-contractors, vendors and invoicing activities. Some of the major managed projects are: IGA City at Istanbul’s 3rd Airport, designed to be the world’s largest airport, Galataport Project, Europe’s biggest marina project and Ikitelli Hospital, Europe’s largest hospital in area.

• Managed the Business Development activities of one the leading construction firms of Turkey by working directly with the company’s CEO, analyzing all local and international opportunities in MENA region especially focusing in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Russia and Republic of Azerbaijan.• Directed and supervised all activities focusing on all prequalification process and documentation preparation. • Prepared all critical written contractual documents, proposals, consultancy agreements and crucial correspondence.

• Supervised and managed the Tender Department consisting of 6 tender engineers of an ENR Top 400 Contractor.

• Prepared the “Guaranteed Maximum Price” budget with 3 other tender engineers for Indiana’s 4th largest construction project, Community Hospital North Expansion. • Worked as the on-site Cost and Scheduling Manager on the above project by preparing bid packages, receiving and reviewing sub-contractor proposals, managing all sub-contracts and purchase orders totaling more than $170M. • Created a +2,000 activity, multi-phased P3 construction schedule and updated per site progress on a bi-weekly basis all throughout the project duration.

• Promoted from “Proposal Engineer” to “Tender Engineer” after the 3rd month of employment; and worked as the “Tender Manager” from March 2001 to November 2004 managing a Tender Department of 5 Tender Engineers. • Handled all submittals, RFI’s, PCO’s, CO’s, necessary additional proposal estimates on a large industrial project for Eli Lilly and Company which was successfully completed under budget and on schedule.
