In this role, I taught and led the Journalism Graphics/Information Design and Prototyping track in the Department of Journalism. The classes I taught included - introduction to media design, news design, niche publications, immersive learning, web design and usability, magazine design, photo editing, basic photography, editorial illustration, media redesigns, BSU at the Games, public relations, art direction, visual reporting and advertising. My background was in photography and its something that I still practice as a freelancer to this day. I started as a photojournalist, but expanded to be able to shoot commercial, weddings, aerial/drone photography. My passion lately has been in architecture photography.
