ArtistYear is dedicated to addressing inequities in Arts Education for K-12 students. To ensure that every low-income student in America has the opportunity to reap the social-emotional and academic benefits associated with creative learning, ArtistYear created a national service arts corps. We train and support AmeriCorps Resident Teaching Artists—gifted recent graduates across all artistic disciplines—and place them as full-time teaching artists at high-need schools.In this role, I am responsible for executing strategy for ArtistYear AmeriCorps Resident Teaching Artist recruitment across all new and existing ArtistYear regions, while engaging with our amazing alumni.

Erika’s Lighthouse: A Beacon of Hope for Adolescent Depression is a non-profit organization committed to raising awareness about mental health, depression, and suicide in elementary, middle, and high school communities at no cost to schools. Erika’s Lighthouse works to eliminate the stigma surrounding depression and empower young people to take ownership of their mental health.In this role, I will work with the Professional Community Ambassadors program. This program utilizes ambassadors from all over the country who want to spread the mission of Erika's Lighthouse to their local community.

The Network has a long-standing commitment to gender-based violence prevention, social justice, transformative justice, anti-oppression frameworks, and community activismIn this role I am primarily responsible for supporting the Centralized Training Institute in various research, coordination, and delivery of training and other public education experiences led by The Network. This also involves extensively researching new topics for training, compiling information and all reference materials as well as creating slide decks for new trainings, while also providing support to the 40-hour trainings, and compiling evaluations and other required data.

Each summer, Hands of Peace brings American, Israeli, and Palestinian youth together inChicago and San Diego for a three-week dialogue-based program. The programis a powerful, unifying experience that starts our participants on their journey to becomingagents of change. In dialogue sessions led by professional facilitators, they learn about “the other” and explore peaceful solutions to foster equality, freedom, and justice. As part of the Summer Program Staff, the Assistant Program Director is responsible for assisting with daily operations and logistics management during the Summer Program.

In the fall of 2019, I spent a few months in New York City as an Artist in Residency at Open Jar Institute. In this program, we trained and learned the ins and out's of a strong, organized, and fruitful career in the theatre.While in the Open Jar Residency program I worked alongside James Gray, who helped me navigate my first audition season in NYC. We worked diligently with special guests in master class, and one on one experiences to craft myself as an artist post graduation. While at Open Jar I worked on my first 29 hour reading with singer/songwriter Joey Contreras on his new show “Forget Me Not”. I also went on to book my first professional touring contract with Prather Productions.
