My role is to mentor teams and individuals for continuous improvements that allow us to scale as a business, meet goals and objectives, align values, and work smart. Areas of focus: - Procurement: Diversification of our network of vendors and creative thinking to meet manufacturing targets with 2-3x annual growth. - Global Logistics: Grow partnerships to ensure materials and products arrive on schedule and within budget to our manufacturing facilities and global 3PL/DCs. - Warehousing: Real-time data and accountability for all production components and material movement workflows. - Fulfillment: Global expansion of our DTC channel, carrier relationship management, and software implementations to streamline/automate the pick, pack and ship processes to improve efficiencies, cost and accuracy. - Systems/Processes: MRP, NPI and PLM.

As with any start-up environment, every person on the team must be a strong collaborator, communicator, and willing wear many hats. - First point of contact for all questions and requests coming into Oru Kayak. - Internal policies, processes and systems implementation. - Back office operations, including accounting and HR. - Purchasing, including vendor management.
