Oliver is currently enjoying an internal 18-month secondment opportunity within the Strategy and Regulation Directorate at Severn Trent. He is supporting the business in maintaining industry-leading performance on 'Outcome Delivery Incentives' whilst preparing for the step-change in the challenge for these key econometric industry metrics in AMP8. The secondment furthers Oliver's professional development by diversifying his water industry knowledge and expanding his network of great colleagues.Oliver remains a capable hydrogeologist with a keen interest in long-term UK water resources planning. He actively promotes strategic and holistic management of the natural environment for the combined goals of water abstraction, environmental protection, and net-carbon-zero. He understands the importance of interdisciplinary communication and working to enable the safe, efficient, and secure running of water supply infrastructure. He is also an experienced field hydrogeologist, regularly planning and performing site work with a safety-first approach.
