I've worked in the field of mental health since 2005 and have been fortunate to broaden my learning through managing a range of mental health teams, whilst also working alongside Health and Public Services as an Approved Mental Health Professional; learning from many great colleagues along the way. More recently, I've picked up the challenge of operational management and have had a number of successes in a short period. Highlights include:- Leading on creating and implementing the new Quality in Care Team which sits between Commissioning and Adult Social Care to ensure providers are supported to deliver excellent quality services to those who require support, and that standards of support are maintained throughout the Authority- Securing government funding to provide Supported Employment, a service that plays an important role in the Leicester City Joint Health & Social Care Learning Disability Strategy- Leading the redesign of preventative services to ensure that in-house provision is proportionate, effective, and well placed for those drawing on support.
